About the Podcast

Do you ever wonder what it would be like to grab a coffee with the greatest thinkers and doers who’ve ever lived? You can stop wondering. I Hear Dead People is the podcast that brings history’s most renowned thinkers, leaders, and teachers back to life… sort of.

The conjurers of these thought-provoking, life-affirming conversations* are dead-serious students of history, philosophy, and human behavior. They’re passing on authentic wisdom from the great beyond to bring to life fresh ideas, inspiration, and insight for today’s listeners.

I Hear Dead People is your opportunity to surround yourself with an extraordinary board of diverse mentors and advisors, each bringing a unique perspective to help guide and nurture your personal and spiritual growth.

During challenging times, reflect upon the profound insights of these iconic figures, and ask yourself, “What guidance would The Buddha provide? How would Jesus approach this situation?” Utilize their timeless wisdom to navigate the complexities of life.

* Conversations that are much too serious to take seriously.

I Hear Dead People is produced by a group of spirited creatives. Together we represent authors, artists, actors, musicians, meditation teachers, and others who experience life a bit… differently.

Meet the Team

ExEcutive Editor & Co-host

Often described as a creative force, albeit a wayward one, Asacker has been an artist, award-winning inventor, screenwriter, and professional magician. He’s a student of the human psyche and the author of several best-selling books on belief, human behavior, and personal transformation. Since childhood, he’s been collecting and deciphering observations about all of the strange ways that people think and behave in the world.

Co-host

Dorion is a relentless learner and voracious seeker of knowledge. He’s a veteran podcast host for one of the world’s largest Fortune 500 companies, and is around the same age as The Buddha was when he became enlightened. He has a dog named Robert Frost and hails from Canada, which means he’s a bit weird but very polite (we wouldn’t want our host to piss off influential dead people).

Executive producer

Andie is a storyteller, designer and accomplished producer. Her creative and theatrical expertise has given rise to a dance company, live theatrical performances, original music and custom videos, as well as various brand and online community development.

Writer

Trudi is a content entrepreneur, community leader, and meditation teacher dedicated to helping people express themselves authentically in all realms. She’s also a ghostwriter, which makes her involvement with the I Hear Dead People podcast more literal than usual.

Illustrator

Jason is an accomplished illustrator who draws things so you don’t have to. And when it comes to serving up ideas, he dishes out delightful work with a healthy portion of humor sauce on the side. As a fan of good-hearted grumpy people, Jason is uniquely qualified to capture and communicate the essences of our all-star roster of brilliant yet legendarily opinionated interviewees.

Music Producer

Matt Nummy creates beautifully haunting melodies and songs in a range of genres, including pop, indie, hip-hop, electronica, and choir/orchestral music. With an educational background in music and technology, Matt is the talented singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and audio engineer who infuses life (and killer beats) into our podcast.
